CA-08 - Mack DM-600 2nd Generation

This is a solid cast resin Mack DM600 cab kit in 1/87 (HO) scale. The Mack DM600 2^nd generation was a great looking and popular type used in the 1980s and '90s in a variety of vocational applications. The DM series was unique in that the cab was offset to the left from the centerline of the hood to give the driver the visual benefit of a cabover truck, especially when backing up. This is the second generation of this cab with the hood extended a few inches more forward than the first generation, allowing for larger cooling systems and resulting in the swept back headlight bezels. This 1/87 scale cast resin cab kit can be used to create an excellent model. You can purchase our DM-600 frame kit separately and choose any of our wheel sets and other chassis components to create a complete model. Kit includes an air cleaner.
