CA-09 - Mack DM-600 Steelnose Cab Kit

This is a solid cast resin Mack DM600 steelnose cab kit in 1/87 (HO) scale. The Mack DM600 steelnose was a great looking and popular type used from the '60s thru the '80s in a variety of vocational applications. The DM series was unique in that the cab was offset to the left from the centerline of the hood to give the driver the visual benefit of a cabover truck, especially when backing up. This version has swing up steel fenders and butterfly opening hoods which give it a heavier, more industrial look but the hood was shorter than the DM-800 version. This 1/87 scale cast resin cab kit can be used to create an excellent model. You can purchase our DM-600 frame kit separately and choose any of our wheel sets and other chassis components to create a complete model. This cab kit includes an air cleaner and bumper with sign board.
